MAKANA Market + Cafe

This project is the renovation of an outdated sundries and coffee shop at the 5-star Fairmont Kea Lani Resort & Spa Maui and is inspired by the relaxed vibe of the Hawaiian beach side food scene. An extensive F&B offering was developed which features a Poke bar, handmade pizzas and sandwiches, liquor and wine displays and tailored retail items as well as a custom ice cream bar and features a barista station with locally-roasted coffee.

Colorful antiqued wood floors, teak accent banding, subway wall tiles are combined with painted nautical shiplap siding. Cafe style light pendant lights and wallsconces provide a relaxed and inviting feel.
